Holiday Hours

Fun & Interesting Events at the Library!

Science Fair Film Screening November 29th 5-7 p.m. In honor of National Education Week, National Geographic is sharing their inspiring documentary SCIENCE FAIR! The film offers a front row seat to the motivations of an incredible group of young women & men who are on a path to change their lives, and the world, through science.

A Night of Christmas Magic! Come read a story with Santa @ your library on December 5th 4:30-6:30 p.m. Enjoy some Christmas crafts, candy canes & have a chat with Mrs. Claus! All kids will receive a free book at the event!

An Evening with Andy Liebner, December 19th at 6:30 p.m. Join us to hear a bit about Andy's passion for skiing and how it has taken him across the globe to participate in biatholon competitions and train Olympic athletes! Also learn how Andy's enthusiasm for the sport brought a successful family business that ships globally and reaches beyond the realm of sports equipment to Cheboygan!

The next library board meeting will be at 9 a.m. on October 11, 2018. A schedule, along with an archive of all meeting minutes and agendas is available on the Library Board tab above.

Book Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. in our lower level. The scheduled books are as follows:

The mission of the Cheboygan Area Public Library is to provide quality materials and services which fulfill the educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of the entire community in an atmosphere that is welcoming, respectful and professional.

The library offers wifi throughout the building as well as a dedicated 24/7 antenna in our children's garden. The outdoor signal is always on. Just look for "library" and connect!
